The author is a Veterinarian and Animal Husbandry specialist by profession. The author hold degree of B.V.Sc. A.H. from Bihar University, Patna and Masters Degree in Dairying from National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal. During 1970-71 the author held Colombo Plan Fellowship in Dairying at Newzealand. The author has a number of Technical Publications to his credit, which have been published by I.C.A.R. and other leading jourals. As Joint Director, Animal Husbandry and Subsequently as MD Milk Fed, Sgr & Jammu the author has contributed immensely in the Development of Livestock and Dairy Development in the State. Besides, the author shows keen interest in the community affairs and writes on these issues in the local paper and community Journals. The athor has retired from service in 1994.
