refugees Living in Different Indian Cities
Data from Rediff.com, July 13, 1999. The report
lists numbers of Kashmiri Pandit families who were forced out of Kashmir
valley in the 1989-1991 period. The number of individuals reported in this
chart is arrived at by assuming an average family size of 5. The total
number is incomplete - thousands of other "migrants" are currently located
in other cities of India.
